The Spartan-George V-14 Dagger is a premium combat knife designed for the modern warrior. Spartan Blades' first collaboration with the gifted and prolific knife maker; Les George, the V-14 takes a classic profile and improves it with better materials and a thoughtful design.
The full-tang design along with the 0.25 inch precision ground thickness makes for a very strong and durable blade. Crafted from a single piece of CPM S35VN stainless steel that gives it better resistance to edge chipping, as well as edge retention far superior to conventional steel. After hollow grinding 4 very symmetrical bevels, each blade is vacuum heat treated, double deep cryogenically treated and double tempered to add to edge retention and toughness, thus curing a problem that has plagued past military daggers.
The ergonomic and textured G10 handle is specifically designed for comfort and a confident grip. The handle is a divergence from tradition as it is oblong with flats on each side to assist in the indexing / use of the knife during hours of limited visibility.
Also comes with a form fitted Kydex sheath with MOLLE compatibility for multiple discreet stowing options.

Spartan Blades creates some of highest quality and functional knives in the world today. Not mass produced on some assembly line, their knives are made in small batches using a blend of precision handwork, computerized machining, heat and cryogenic treatment, protective PVD coating, and multiple quality control checks.
Spartan Blades uses "Deep Cryo" to improve the performance and increase the life of each knife. They use "Deep-Cryo" after vacuum heat treatment and again after initial temper for greater wear resistance and durability. Conventional deep-freeze methods reach only minus 120 degrees F. Their superior cryo-processing takes metals to Minus 325-350 degrees F, transforming soft retained austenite to hard martensite. This creates a significantly denser molecular structure.
To further protect and harden each blade, Spartan uses PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition), a process that molecularly bonds a tough, high performance metallic compound onto the metal substrate of each blade. These are the same coatings you find on military machine guns and other high end firearms. Advantages include: resistance to wear, corrosion and chemical resistance, as well as high hardness. PVD coating is tough to scratch and will not stain, tarnish, chip or fade.
Proudly crafted in the USA from premium American materials, their creations are made to last through years of rugged use while maintaining their edge and strength of design. These are truly "World Class" knives and will make a prestigious addition to any knife owner's collection.
